                                  Intro

 

I’m Lauren I’m 11 and a detective. I go to Franklin Middle School as a 6^th grader. My best friends name is Zoey. She’s my assistant dective. We’ve been best friends since 3^rd grade. We decided to be dectives in 4^th grade because we both love Nancy Drew books and we love to solve puzzles. Zoey and I live across the street from each other, so when we have a case we go into my basement.

 

 

            “This is going to be so much fun” said Zoey exciting to Lauren.” I know! answered Lauren it’s a good thing Kate’s dad works at the mini golf course”. “Yeah”! said Zoey in a shrieked voice. “Time to go kids”.

 

“Were here”! said Mrs. Andrews over all the talking. “I can’t wait” said someone from in the back row. When we got in it was so cool. I think Zoey was the most excited though because she was jumping up and down. “Look it has a miniature waterfall” said Zoey. “Now calm down everybody, line up and get your golf clubs and balls” said Mrs. Andrews. Zoey was first in line. You may golf in groups of two or three. Zoey and I are always together.

 

It was all going good until Kate yelled “where’s my golf ball”? “Maybe you hit it and it went into the field”. ‘ No! I left it here argued Kate”. “Kate said Mrs. Andrews go get another one”. “Fine” said Kate. But when she got back her golf club was gone to. “Where’s my golf club”? “Go get another one” Kate I said. A few minutes later Michael said “how come our score pad has all zeros on my score, when I got three whole -in-ones”? “Michael if that’s your score that’s your score” said Mrs. Andrews.

 

‘Zoey I said this is strange’.” I think this is a case for us’.” But I wanna golf Lauren” said Zoey.” I know but if you look up and your ball is gone”? “Fine let’s go”.

 

“Okay first let’s interview Kate’s dad”. “Alright Lauren I’ll ask and you’ll write in the notebook.”Mr. Peterson said Zoey. “Can we ask you a few questions”? “Sure Zoey. “Okay it’s about all the things that have been happening”. ”So what’s happened so far”? “Well one day five golf clubs and two balls went messing”.” People also said that the water fall kept turning on and off and since the day that five golf clubs went messing fifteen golf clubs and seven balls are gone to”. “Thank you Mr. Peterson”. “Okay said Lauren lets go check out the water fall”.

 

Creak! Went the door as we opened it.” Search for any clues okay Zoey”? “I know I know I know”!” Lauren look yelled Zoey”. “The pipes are leaking that’s why the water is turning on and off”.” Lauren what did you find”. The water tank the water is low”. “Well that’s solved” said Lauren but we still need to find out whose taking all the stuff.

 

“Look for any kind of clues Zoey. After five minutes Lauren said “look Zoey I found some blonde hair and a box by a door. “Look yelled Zoey the doors open. “Lauren yelled Zoey look it’s all the golf stuff and more hair.

 

“Mr. Peterson said Lauren we know who did it”. “Really”? “Please tell me”. “Well said Zoey when we were looking for clues we found some blonde hair. Then we saw an empty box from an office next to a door. We opened the door and found the golf clubs and golf balls we also found more hair. We new it had to be someone’s who was here everyday and that had blonde hair”. Since you’re the boss you have to be here everyday and Kate has to come here after school and none of your other blonde workers are there everyday”. “So we new it was either you or Kate”. “But the hair we found was curly so we knew it was Kate! “She took her own ball and golf club and put them in the closet so no one would suspect her. After that when no one was looking she erased Michael’s scores and went back to her game. She tried to frame you with the box from your office that had your name on it.
