Writers' Biography

Kristine:

       I go to East Middle School. I like to write mysteries. My favorite mystery ‘move’ is leaving someone hanging at the ends of my stories. My nick name/ writer’s name is Kit-Kat

 

Rachel:

       I will be going to North Middle School next year and I will be in the sixth grade. I’m eleven years old and I like to write about almost anything and everything!

 

Adam:

I am almost 14 and I go to LeMars Community Middle School and I will be in eighth grade. When I am not writing, I can be found playing piano or the bassoon, discussing life’s greatest questions, and, of course, thinking.

 

Amanda:

       I am home schooled and I am twelve years old. I like writing because it lets me tell people what I think without screaming at them when I am mad, and letting them under stand my feelings. I love horses and poetry, so I mostly write poetry about horses. My nickname is Manda-Panda.

 

Carley:

       I go to East Middle School and I will be in the eighth grade. I like to write because it lets me get my feelings out in the open instead of keeping them bottled up inside me. I like to write mysteries and I like to leave questions in the readers mind at the end so they want to read more. My nickname is Sodapop, like from the Outsiders, because he is my favorite character.

 

Emily:

       I will be going to East Middle School next year and I am 11 years old, I will be in the sixth grade. I play the piano and I sing in the chorus and that is what inspired me to do the poem called Nature Song.

 

Cassie:

       I am 13 years old and I will be going into the eighth grade at North Middle next year. I was inspired to write this piece by a picture I found on the internet of a place I went on vacation once. My nickname is Brain.
