FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS 1. Who can join the speech club? Anyone! Were you in individual speech, group speech, or debate in high school? Did you do communications events in 4-H? Do you want to expand your public speaking skills? Don't have much experience, but you are serious about improving your speech skills? Then check us out today! Keep in mind, however, we expect performance. One hour per week of speech practice, PLUS one hour of judging per week! 2. Did I hear traveling? Yes, there may be travel involved, as we travel around the Midwest for competitions or the chance to go to nationals. The opportunities are what you make out of them in college.
