A Year End Review (2008-2009)Morningside College's Alpha Gamma chapter of Alpha Psi Omega, led by Beau Sudtelgte, had a busy year. Events included regular meetings; two initiations; a welcome for first-year students; participation in a campus-wide activities fair and a day of service; fund-raisers at the performances (flowers and treats); a trip to American Players Theatre in Spring Green, WI, and a performance of Rocky Horror at University of South Dakota; a spring cleaning day at the theatre, membership volunteer work at the theatre each semester; and a 72-hour theatre project, resulting in a performance for the campus of the one-act play Asylum. At our annual spring banquet we initiated six honorary members and presented "Alphie Awards" for outstanding performances, direction, design, and backstage work. |
