Reggie Schive taught band in the Iowa public

member of the music faculty at Morningside College. Mr. Schive was also a
dear friend and colleague of Karl King and was the first man to conduct the
Karl King Band other than Mr. King himself. He is also a distinguished member
of the Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia music fraternity.
Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia is a nationally recognized
music fraternity founded in 1898 by Ossian Everett Mills. Sinfonians share a
love of music that unites them as brothers. The fraternity teaches men to
develop themselves and their art, not for the sake of art itself, but as a
means of enriching the lives of others. Through a multitude of chapter,
provincial, and national events, Sinfonia offers unlimited opportunities for
performance, community music outreach, and other social activities designed to
develop a true appreciation of music's power to uplift the soul.
