We are the men of the Gamma Xi chapter of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. Founded in 1940 on the campus of Morningside College in Sioux City, Iowa, our chapter and its members strive to fulfill the ideals set forth by Ossian E. Mills in 1898.

To date, our chapter has 16 active members, 0 probationary members, 11 honorary members, and 512 alumni. Not all are music majors, or even minors. We seek to be an organization open to all who show the characteristics of musicianly men. Our chapter meetings are held every Sunday evening at 7pm in our chapter room in Eppley Auditorium.

The Object of this Fraternity shall be...

for the development of the best and truest fraternal spirit;

the mutual welfare and brotherhood of musical students;

the advancement of music in America

and a loyalty to the Alma Mater.
