A pre-chiropractic student must have at least 90 hours (3 years) of college coursework, usually including the following courses: 8 semester hours in animal biology (human anatomy and physiology with lab recommended), 8 semester hours in general chemistry, 8 semester hours in organic chemistry, 6-8 semester hours in physics, 6 semester hours in English, 3 semester hours in psychology, and 6 or more semester hours in social science or the humanities. Students may use the transfer back program to earn a dual degree-one from Morningside and one from the chiropractic school, if they plan carefully and satisfy all general studies requirements here.
Northwestern College of Chiropractic in Minneapolis is a popular choice of Morningside students.
