Every year during the fall semester, students are given the opportunity to attend the Iowa Nurses Association and Iowa Association of Nursing Students conventions. Morningside College sends several delegates to the convention each year, Attendance at the convention introduces nursing students to the professional association of nurses and familiarizes them with the professional issues. It also provides the opportunity for students to network with other students of professional nursing.
