Prof. Michael "Tug" Buse joined Morningside College in 2004 to teach classes in television and digital media. He also advises MCTV, Morningside College's student–run video production unit.

Prof. Buse came to Morningside from Chapman University in California, where he received his masters of fine arts in film in the spring of 2004.

Tug's professional interests include traditional and computer–based animation and history. He earned his undergraduate degree in history from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine. His thesis film, "Resurrecting Reconstruction," won Bowdoin's Class of 1875 Prize in American History.

He is also interested in wooden boats and boating. Prof. Buse teaches Field Video, Video Production, TV Studio and Film History.
