Jay O'Leary

Jay O'Leary received both his Bachelor of Music Education and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees from the University of Colorado and his Master of Music from Boston University. He has studied clarinet, flute, oboe and other woodwind instruments with members of the New York Philharmonic as well as the Boston, Chicago, and Colorado Symphonies. He is a former Associate Principal Clarinet of the U.S. Army Field Band of Washington D.C.

O'Leary is currently principal oboe with the Sioux City Symphony Orchestra and an adjunct faculty member at Morningside College.
