EARLY STRING PROGRAM

This program is designed for beginning string players ages 4 and up. Violin instruction will be done in small group lessons using Suzuki as well as traditional methods of teaching. Students and their parents will receive additional private time on either side of the group lesson. Students may choose from four different class meeting times: Mondays 3:30-4:30, Mondays 4:30-5:30, Wednesdays 3:30-4:30, or Wednesdays 4:30-5:30. Cello students will schedule a private lesson time and have monthly "play days." While the Academy does not provide performance opportunities for these young string players, we do offer performance classes and recitals that they are encouraged to attend.
Lessons will meet in the MacCollin Classroom Building at Morningside College.
