Mr. Miller is a graduate of the University of Nebraska at Omaha.  He conducts the Symphonette ensemble of the Youth Orchestras Program and is our string bass faculty member.  Mr. Miller is director of orchestras on the north side in the Sioux City Community School district and is director of East High's all-women's show choir, Impulse.  He is currently principal bass for the Sioux City Symphony and has been seen on stage, heard playing in the pit and seen waving his baton for several productions at the Sioux City Community Theater.  While in Omaha, he served as the double bassist for the Nebraska Choral Arts Society and has recorded two compact discs with the internationally acclaimed children's chorus, Bel Canto.   He has played across the United States and has performed with the Nelson Riddle Orchestra and with Harry Connick, Sr.
