Hi! Welcome to the Office of International Students Services at Morningside College. My name is Lillian Lopez and I am the Director of the Office of International Students Services. I am also the advisor to the International Students Association, the college's international student organization.
Once on campus, you can visit me at my office in Charles City Hall , Room 206. You can contact me via email at lopez@morningside.edu or via telephone at 274-5225. During the academic year, I will post my office hours on my office door. If those hours are not convenient for you, feel free to set up an appointment at another time.
Our office's purpose is to facilitate your transition into Morningside College. It is our goal to make this transition as comfortable and easy as possible. The office provides immigration services (for F-1 visas only), assistance with banking accounts, social security numbers, rides to and from the Sioux City Airport, academic life questions, and cultural adjustments.
I enjoy greatly the time I spend with our international students and I look forward to working with each of you during your stay at Morningside College. At Morningside, we pride ourselves on providing individual attention to our students' needs. We are very proud of our commitment to our international students and greatly appreciate the many ways in which all of you enrich our college community.
