Spring 2010 - Registration Available Starting November 9

The Master's Degree Professional Foundations Core courses and some endorsement specific courses are available in an online format to students regardless of location. Please note the section numbers. Courses that are totally online normally have a section number ending in 95. If a course has more than one section, it may have a section number of A95, B95, C95, etc. You may register for any section that is available. (Please note that additional sections of ICN or Hybrid classes also use this numbering system. For example, 071 and A71 for Des Moines Metro Area classes.)

Internship Registration
Individuals who have applied for a Special Education internship or a Talented and Gifted internship for the spring semester will be registered by the Graduate Office once approved and an internship supervisor has been assigned. Along with the tuition for the internship, there is an internship fee of $75 for the Special Education internship (3 graduate credits) and $40 for the Talented and Gifted internship (2 graduate credits).
Dropping A Graduate Class
Graduate students who wish to drop a class after online registration has ended or after the semester has started must call the Graduate Office immediately to do so at 800-8831-0806, x5375. E-mail notification is not accepted nor is notifying the course instructor.
A spring course dropped during the first week of the class will not appear on the student's permanent record. A spring course dropped after the first week of the class will be recorded as a "W" on the student's permanent record.
Students who drop a course after the drop period will be charged tuition for that course on a pro-rated basis calculated from the first day of class to the date of the official drop. For those receiving financial aid, please note that dropping a class may affect your financial aid award.
Grade Reports
Grade reports for program courses that are directly registered through Morningside are no longer mailed to students. Unofficial grade reports can be accessed through the student's CampusWEB account. See the online registration directions from Darby Young to access other helpful information such as My Schedule, My Transcripts, My Billing, etc.
NOTICE: Tuition is $160 per credit hour. Morningside College Graduate tuition increase to $170 per credit hour beginning with Summer 2010 term courses.
