Uncommonly Sensible Science Course Offerings
Morningside College and Seela Science, located in Clarinda, Iowa, have partnered to offer convenient and relevant professional development courses via CD-ROM. The Primary Level courses are appropriate for Kindergarten through 3rd Grade. The Intermediate Level courses are appropriate for 4th through 8th Grade. No busy work. Everything is extremely usable in the classroom. Seela Science provides the courseware and science materials. The graduate student sets the pace and determines if he/she wants 1 or 2 credits for each course. Morningside College awards the credit. Cost is $175 for a 1-credit class and $215 for a 2-credit class. (Includes all materials, manual, shipping and credit.)
The classes can be used as part of the Morningside Professional Educator Master's degree or for professional growth to use for licensure renewal or for salary advancement. You do not need to be currently admitted to graduate study at Morningside to take these classes. Please note that these courses do not qualify for financial aid or loan deferment.
