G.A.M.E.R.S. Oval Office

President's Bio.

Eric Lawson ~ Senior

I began in 2002 as the Historian of the then titled “Morningside College Games Club”. I served in that capacity for three faithful years, paving a definitive recollection of the past for future generations to learn from and live by. I was also Secretary of the Club from the Spring of 2004 to the end of my term in Spring 2005. And of course, they eventually made me President. Why? Stick around. You’ll see.

Let’s be honest. I like Mega Man. I like Castlevania, Metroid, Zelda, Isaac Asimov, doughnuts, pizza, pancakes, Swat Kats, rock and roll from 1960-1989, and most things that are colored green. I’m an Education Major focusing on History, with a minor in Special Education. And yes, that is a weird combination, I’m well aware. All the same, I’m always around, easily accessible when I’m not in class or in a Practicum, and I stick to my grades and my commitments, while still managing to be one of the most active people in the group. Simply put, I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and gosh darnit, people like me. And if you ever wanna play a game of chess, come on by. I’ll have the board ready.
