Research projects are often suggested by faculty, but we are also supportive of student-initiated research programs.

Current interest in

Students recently wrote a proposal for the National Science Foundation to fund a robotics laboratory at Morningside College.  Although the proposal was not funded, it was rated "Very Good" to "Excellent", and will be submitted again for reconsideration in 2005.
