FCP
The FCP, or Finals Care Packages, is something the group does as a service to students and parents. Students get the chance to take a break during finals week, and parents get the chance to give their student something nice. In the middle of the semester we send out a flyer and price guide. Shortly after parents send them back and we begin the process of putting the packages together. A few days before finals week, several members of the group go on a "Sam's Run" and get massive amounts of food and snack. We set up an assembly line and get all the packages done in one night, and over the next week students are able to come pick up their packages.
Deal Makers Inc.
Every fall Deal Makers Inc. does a "Mustang Card." The Mustang Card is a discount card that has many area business on it and really great deals. Early in the fall we go to area businesses and ask them if they would like to participate, they give us a discount that they are willing to do and we put it on the back of a card, we get a bunch of made and then sell them for a nominal fee. This year we had several business that included: Cold Stone Creamery, Dairy Queen, Subway, Domino's, Bob Roe's and many many more. With an expected annual savings of over $400 dollars they were a steal for only $5.
