Dr. Livermore is a veteran of 33 years of college teaching, the last 28 at Morningside.  He has worked in various marketing positions for Barber-Coleman Co., Burroughs Corp. and MCI.  Dr. Livermore teaches various marketing related topics and is noted for his students' creative marketing projects.  Doug was selected to be the inaugural recipient of the Outstanding Alumnus Award for Western Iowa Tech in 1995.  Omicron Delta Kappa has recognized Doug as faculty of the year, and he was selected to receive the Lucille and Charles Wirt Faculty Excellence Award in 2000.  He was one of the inaugural recipients of the Sharon Walker Faculty Excellence Award in 2003. Doug serves as a faculty member of Omicron Delta Kappa.
