Ad Club

Mission Statement:
To educate and advance advertising students by providing knowledge and programs that will enhance the development of the advertising profession.

 The Creative Edge Student Advertising Club goals are to:

• Ensure that all members will learn and progress by participation in the planning and execution of club activities.
• Provide opportunities for members to experience and deepen their understanding of the advertising profession.
• Provide and promote a better understanding of the functions of advertising and of its values.
• Stimulate and encourage advertising professionalism through advertising education.
• Apply the skills, creativity and energy of advertising to help solve social problems.
• Develop the individual abilities of its members.
• Promote fellowship and develop student leaders.

E-Group

Mission Statement:
The Morningside College E-Group fosters campus-wide entrepreneurship by acting as a soundboard for business ideas and concepts developed by both our group as a whole and our individual members.
           
What it does for you:
Through active involvement, E-Group’s members are able to develop and refine their communication, networking, and leadership skills.

Programs and Activities:

• Our ongoing Entrepreneur speaker series gives us the opportunity to seek advice from current successful entrepreneurs who have real-life experience.
• By efficiently operating our campus-wide businesses we improve our overall understanding of what it takes to start a business. Our group businesses include Deal Makers Inc., Better Birthday Company, and F.C.P. We have also help members start other businesses, such as Carpets4College.
• We also conduct our Business Entrepreneur Bootcamp, which enables us to reach out campus-wide and provide students with necessary information to start-up their own business.
• This year we also hope to hold a campus-wide Etiquette Dinner, where students learn the proper business etiquette in a formal dinner setting.
