Email: bowitz@morningside.edu John Bowitz is Professor and Chair of the Art Dept. He has been with Morningside College since 1977. Prior to this, he was at Ottumwa Heights College as Chair of the Division of Fine Arts. Bowitz received his MFA and MS from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 1971 and 1970. He received his BS from the Univ. of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 1969. Much of Bowitz's work is done in mixed media. He works with drawing materials, paint, ceramics, collage, computer modified images, and found objects. |
