Hello to all!
The design for ALD shirts has been chosen. If you would like to order one email our
ALD President Lisa Grosvener (llg001@morningside.edu) telling
her your size by Friday night (November 13, 2009).
ALD is putting up the Christmas tree Monday night at 8:30 pm. If you would like to help you are
welcome to come.
This year Alpha Lambda Delta will be involving the campus in a project
called Operation Christmas Child.
This is a project where the Samaritan’s Purse distributes gift-filled
shoe boxes to some 100 countries!
They help more than 7.7 million hurting children each year. We would like to help the Samaritan’s
Purse in helping the children. It’s simple! First, pick up a pamphlet at the Lewis
Hall front desk. It includes gift ideas as well as a label to put on the
box. Next, go out and buy some
little gifts to fill up a shoe box.
Then, wrap a shoe box with wrapping paper and put the gifts inside. Lastly, drop off the box at the Lewis
Hall front desk by November 20. Donations towards the project may also be
brought to the Admissions office in Lewis Hall.
